My CF MI Hood!
I got this last Tuesday but wasn't able to take pics because of all the rain we got in SoCal.
Hood went on easily, just had to dremeled the latch down a bit so that the hood catch would catch the latch. All in all, it was a great fit and looks fantastic! Peek-A-Boo! My pictures really doesn't do it justice. I'm not sure why the pictures are so grainy. Maybe it's the low light. Thanks again Garm for the fast ship and excellent product. |

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |

Here is an up close picture. I still don't know why my camera is taking such grainy photos.
The latch mod I did was just sanding down the latch on the hood. Took the paint off and filed down the metal a bit after that I use some grease to cover the exposed metal. Took about 5mins with a dremel. You really can't tell anything was done to it. It pops open nice and easy, just like the OEM hood when you pull on the hood release lever. |
