yaris jerks while parking?

HI EVERYONE(:

I recently got a 2009 yaris hatchback automatic and i was wondering if anybody's car jerks as you are parking.. mine Sometimes jerk but not all the time so i'm still wondering what i am doing wrong or if i change the gear so fast??

SO DID ANYBODY HAVE THIS PROBLEM? thankkks..

Is your foot pressing the brake pedal all the way down while shifting to Park?

Trick would be to get a manual shift - then if it jerks you KNOW it's your fault...

One example i can think of is that if you are driving on "D" gear without completely stop and then change to "R" too fast, you will feel the car is jerking.

if your still moving slightly and you put it in park you will hit the "Park" and bounce back an forth :)

I do it sometimes when im in a hurry it never feels good and cant be too good for the car :p

thank you for answering!! i need to change my habit.. hopefully the problem is that i change it too fast.... CAUSE I JUST GOT THIS CAR..hopefully its me and not the car.
