New 2010 Yaris average MPG

Hi,
I purchased a 2010 Yaris sedan with 5,000 kms (3000 miles). The car still has that new car smell. It was bought from an old man and hasn't been on the road very much.

My first tank, I got 32 mpg (all city driving with a light foot)
On my second tank, I used Petro Canada and I got 30 mpg.

I think I won't be filling up at Petro Canada anymore.

Has anyone here used Shell V-power? I heard it's 100% gas (where as p.c. is probably 85%)

Thanks

Arrow THIS MIGHT HELP READ MY OTHER BLOGS ABOUT MPG and DIY hypermiling

HEY.....ITS JAY HERE.....I have several blogs that might help you, just click on my name to the left. Yes...your right about the gas. Here in the states the terms are TOP TIER GAS. LESS additives more pure gas no fillers like ethanol ( to keep octane up, but no really gas) cheap gas is cheap for a reason.TOP TIER GAS LIKE.... union 76, chevron, shell and exxon have cleaning engine adds but not fillers.their TOP TIER because or more real gas. Anyway, dont know canadas petrol brands but even BP ARCO here didnt make the TOP list for the above reasons. Check out hypermiling and better gas, IT MADE A BIG diffrence in my 2010 SEDAN, more pick up and 3-4 mph better. you will pay more but it all comes out in the end...HA.HA.

actually it should be cheaper. Ethanol is extremely expensive, especially when it is corn based ethanol from the US. Not only does it cost more, it gets worse gas mileage.
