Certainly looks like good bones.
Am I missing something or has there been an official release from Toyota stating that the next generation Yaris will indeed be a joint venture with Mazda?

I don't love the exterior styling. I dont hate it either. I wouldn't buy it new as I think it is too expensive for basic transportation. You'd be better off buying a dealer demo corolla

For me, 2010 will be it. I would buy a sedan or wagon, but no hatches. Too small of a look for me. Happy as can be with my Yar sedan. Love it. ( I do miss the speed, power, torque and payload of my Caprice wagon from time to time) (hence the hitch and handling bars)...If not for the bookshelf down the highway mpg, I woulda got a 2010 xB....But glad I did not.....

I hate the styling/lines/proportions of the new Corolla, both LE and S models. It just looks (to the eye) cheap, flimsy, and poorly-designed. Overall, it's as ugly as the new Honda Civic (and Fit) generation is.
