Thanks all.

I put on 72 miles today. Man, that new car smell is killing me. It almost knocked me out.

I so need a tach. The shop said they should be getting it tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it in there soon.

It's great to see another member of the board acquiring a new Yaris. Congrats why?

Remember to remove the dealership decal on the rear hatch. Personally I cannot stand when they put decals advertising the dealership. If they are going to pay for a portion of the cost to display their name on your/my car I will gladly leave it on.
Plus once the decal hardens with age it becomes a bear to remove.
Just my 2cents

StFrancis, I yanked the little emblem from the dealer off 1st thing

Why? How are they putting in the tach? I was thinking about getting software for my CE PDA to read the OBDII data, assuming the Yaris has a OBDII connector. Wonder if you would get RPM from that. I know on the CivicSI it had the OBDII and wideband sensor to get all kind of data from the cars computers. Don't know squat about this kinda stuff, don't want to change stuff just look at RPM, temps, maybe pressures in the fuel injections

All cars are pre-wired for a tach anyways, since most of the rest of the world has one standard.

They just have to find the specific wire and hook it up to it.

The rims are FRD and yes they're 18's (18x7) with no rubbing! So stoked about that
