Smile BC coilovers: Good deal!

Yeah, only after 2 months of use, I'm seeling my coilovers BC type BR.

It is absolutly not because I don't appreciate them, but only because 1) winter is coming and 2) I have new projects.

I realley enjoyed them: they were absolutly all I wanted! Good quality, stiff enough (spring rates 8-6). They were awesome on the track, and funny on the streets. BC offers a very good service too (this is an other reason why I'm selling them: the guarantee is in the US...it is pretty hard for me to have a replacement in good time if something happen here in Quebec, Canada).

Well, I'm asking $1000 CND shipped to US, brand new (only 2 months of use) and 1 year guarantee. The front shocks are brand new (they have never been used, they have been replace because of an accident with the previous one, so BC sent me 2 brand new shocks in for the front).

Heres some photos/websites talking about the suspension. If you want real picture, ask me:

Cool coilovers, but aren't you asking more than they cost new directly from BC? Also, are you asking in US or CND dollars?

I think the BC ones are the same as the Megans.

BC is the factory that makes Megans. They also do Greddy's and several others. Though these are similar to Megan's and even made on the same factory they use different specs for all the different brands...

Also, these are less than a $1K in the US. Are you asking $1200 US for a set of used coilovers???

It's not a good deal either way.

1,200.00 CAD = 1,132.96 USD based on rates at market close today.

CND, they costs me $1300 CND (bill to proove), but just like I said, I have used them only 2 months (more specifically, they were on the car for two months) and I spent one of these months in Europe...so basically, the kit have been use only for one month...I didn't know the kit was under $1K in US. Could you show me some places where they are selling them that price, taxe include? I'm curious, and if so, than, I will adjust my price for sure! N-e-ways, it is negociable

Everyone is just trying to let you know you won't sell coilovers if they are more $$$ than you can buy new shipped. Unfortunately even if they are brandy dandy new in the unopened box you would be lucky to get 90% of the lowest new price + shipping. Also pictures of quality help and if you are still driving with them on it lowers the price because pics are not accurate.

Yes, all the above comments are true. I think you're expecting too much for a used product. Even one day used, after you've installed them, eats up 20-25% of the value. Sorry you have to pay more in Canada. If you decide you are willing to come off that price, pm me, but you'll have to get under $900 to have much of a chance on this forum. Good luck!

That's the difference....

Welll, I still believe $1100 is a good price for a kit that havent been use for more than two months.

Yeah, they still on the car, for the car doesnt run because something is broken and I need to replace it (and the part is back order so I'm waiting for it since 1 and half month now!!!!!)

I think I didn't mentionned that the 2 front shocks are brand new? Yeah...one of my front shock broke (as I said in General section), so BC sent me 2 brand new front shocks that have never been run. The cause of it? When we installed them, they forgot to mention a really important measure to respect, so the shock was to compressed and it finally broke. Nothing to do with the quality of the part.

So....if I recapitulate:

-Less than 2 months of use (rear shocks)
-Brand new shocks in the front (never used)
-1 year guarantee
-Spring rate 8-6
-No taxe to pay
-Maybe I could do something for the shipping.

????
