Too bad streets here are horrible for coil-overs since they are so stiff :/

Definitely interested in your results. Stock resonator back straight pipe with stock pipe sizing isn't deep enough. I want that nice deep rumble at warmed up idle. Least I don't have droning at highway.

The key for a deep tone is to through a muffler on the end that will allow the air flow to resonate more in a larger space, especially if youre deleting the resonators

So just one question. Do you have passengers in the back ever?
Im so jealous of that driveway... its so flat with no curb. I have to work my way up and contend with parallel parked cars...

Yeah I do actually, I took the car to SF. It was a double date so my cousin and his lady were in the back. It was pretty smooth. This is my friends house, My driveway is a bit steep so I don't really go up it anymore lol.

Thanks Phil! Yeah I plan on doing that tomorrow But, I was also thinking if I should maybe wait for my wheels before I go any lower. Idk. Also, I think maybe when I installed the coils, the ABS and VSC lines might have been stretched.. So maybe that's why they're on all the time. Pain in the ass. I wish I didn't have all of that extra stuff haha.

Added the 5mm spacer in the rear driver side in an attempt to even out the wheel offset due to our crooked torsion beam.. Still doesn't look even. Not really sure what else I can do haha. Now the driver side looks more flush than the rear passenger side.

Put that spacer to the passenger side? I also have the issue. 10mm hub spacer on one side, a 3mm on the other.

Ohh it's the rear passenger side that needs the extra spacer to be even? I could have sworn it was the driver side. But for sure man I'll check it out.

haha it comes with the territory. I say no go low and get used to it so youre not trying to get comfortable with a new slam AND new wheels. I tried removing the last collar i have left in the rear but the threads are marred so it gets stuck almost at the very top.
and please keep posting pics, this thread is becoming an open forum now lol |
