It didn't hurt the cat engine we have on the peterbilt! Haha

But very true I would agree for using on your personal vehicle its a better choice

i am also thinking about bent fins in my condenser. i will try to clean it also this weekend with coil foam spray and water.

one guy told me to use a toothpick to re-align the fins to the best i can to avoid restricted airflow.
