My Car Pretty Much Done

Here are some pics of my '09 now that most all the exterior work is done. Oh, and my wife is in the driver's seat. :)

Is that a roof visor for a sunroof?

The car looks good!

Yes, it is for a sunroof! I had one on my Tacoma and liked it, and decided to put one on the Yaris to break up that long curve in the top of the car. And no, I don't have a sunroof.

Tein basics with a really mild 1.1" drop.

Then you're all set!

^ I agree. It would be nicer with a drop. But, see that lady in the driver's seat in my sig? She won't let me! LOL!

Eh? You have the windblock for a sunroof but no sunroof?

That's about as bad as those faux stick-on sunroofs that everyone was making fun of in the Brembo brake caliber covers thread!

Nice car, but that one mod makes no sense to me.

^ Well, there is not one other Yaris like mine anywhere in my area that I have seen, so people who look at it probably have no idea what that thing is on the roof. Probably think it's supposed to be there. I do not like that long arc of the windshield and roof, and broke it up with my $20 hunk of plastic. I like it, so there you go. Doesn't even have to make sense. :)

I also am working on the trd add ons, do I just take it to the dealership and ask for a trd grille emblem or what. I wish my question mark key was working sorry if my writing is hard to read or seems sarcastic lol.

That's okay. I got mine off ebay I think.

@Betrivent - you are right, I do need a drop. Reasons I can't get one are listed in the posts somewhere I think. ;)

You're absolutely right, it's your car so it's your call; but I am just of the mindset that truly fake stuff on cars like this is really "ricer." It's almost pushing it with the real spoilers, especially since these are front-wheel drive vehicles and the downdraft for traction should be there; but I've seen some ridiculous stuff like four tailpipes coming out of a Honda Civic and brake cooling vents that just look ridiculous in my opinion. Especially since we ain't kids anymore...

I'm pretty sure a rear spoiler would probably cause more drag and cause a lost of MPG, don't quote me on that though. But with that said, I'm putting one on my Car this week.

I got one of those cheap Ebay ones and some Neffy wrap from Micro Image. The spoiler just arrived yesterday. Will post some pics of what it looks like when it's done. Hopefully it'll look as good as it does in my head.

Heck, I might even buy a baseball cap and wear is backwards once I get that spoiler on!!
