weird sound

when im driving on the freeway or just on the street and hit some little bumps, the glove compartment begins to make some clankity sound right there and then. i turned my audio system off and rolled my windows and was driving through the park and it began to clank a bit when i went over some bumps. anybody know wut's up?

could be something in there.

is it a metallic clank, or a plastic rattle?

Are you sure it isn't coming from around the guage cluster (in front of or behind). Many people have reported this and your dealer can fix it.

mine too. thinking about taking it to the dealer. its annoying when i dont have my stereo blasting.

i have a very very annoying rattle coming from the center console by the e-brake...

so muchplastic is gonna rattle, hard to avoid it.

gotta just isolate it and see exactly whats causing it, then you can fix it.

yeah i got that one too. i got rattles coming from all over the place.

ok well i took my glove compartment out and i found lots of taped wires lol. one bunch wasn't strapped on to anywhere and was located next to the plastic covering where you put your foot when you sit down. i think that was the source of all the rattle. wires hitting plastic.
