With the Scosche kit you should just need the US type 200mm opening silver trim piece. The color will be slightly different than your AC control panel, as the silvers for the US and European Yaris are slightly different. The black vertical trim pieces that came with your ebay kit will be fine with the US trim piece.

I have an extra US 200mm one that I would be willing to sell for $45 + shipping.

Hi, I have the same exact problem, bought the schoche kit, bought the fascia, and they both arrived but the schoche kit doesnt fit. I have searched the net all over, but I cant find either US fascia, nor a single din kit that would fit the fascia I already bought. Buying new fascia seems expensive for me at the moment, so any help finding a single din kit that'd fit my fascia is much appreciated. If the item you find is on ebay, then it will be much better. Thanks :)

Here in the US, I mostly use crutchfield for radio parts, especially installation parts. They haven't led me wrong yet.

The Scoche kit is only designed to work with the OEM 200mm fascia. For the aftermarket 180mm fascia you would just need a generic "single DIN pocket".

Thanks for the help, though I dont think it will fit to the yaris. anyway, thanks a lot for your help, i guess all i have to do is buy the CT24TY22 kit instead of a generic single din kit, right? It would fit then, wont it?

If you know that, I will order one off of ebay again, I think theres some stock in UK. This is what i found till now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CT24TY22-Toy...-Package-Kit-/
Is this the one I'm supposed to look for?

Then if so, I may need some help later for the harness. See, I have this old Sony CDX-MP80 i want to install. I had this in my old car, an '89 Fiat Tipo, and the radio's wires are already soldered with the old fiat harness. maybe I should start a new thread for the help.

thanks for your time CTScott. :)
Happy there still are decent people in the net willing to help. Thanks again!

So, i figured it needs approval as i posted a link in my message from ebay.
I was asking if this is the US kit as you see it from the pics, cos its sold from the UK, so I cant really spot the difference. here's the link: goo[dot]gl/l7O98P
CT24TY22 is the kit's name. Do you know if this is the one for the scoche kit? Thanks again CTScott. :)
I'm so happy that there are still some decent people on the net that are willing to help others in need. :)

I have a feeling that the CT24TY22 kit still has the 180mm opening. The pictures in the ebay links look like it is 200mm, but I those may just be stock photos of the OEM trim pieces.

Hey guys, first post here. I'm in Australia and just bought a second hand Yaris sedan 2006 with just 24.000 kms last Friday.

I have the opposite problem as the OP. My car's fascia is 200mm wide and 100mm high. I bought a Clarion VX402A but the plates that came with it don't fit in my car. The 200mm plate is 115mm high where the 180mm wide is 100mm high.

That sucks. Anyone knows where can I find a plate to fit in my clarion and my car?

Cheers

Well, I've sent the seller 2 messages since friday, still no answer. So I only have to wait I guess.

EDIT: The seller claims:
Condition:
New
Part Manufacturer:
Connects2
Colour:
Silver
Part Manufacturer Number:
CT24TY22
Manufacturer:
Toyota
Other Part Number:
CT24TY22
Manufacturer Part Number:
CT24TY22
Finish:
Plastic
Country/Region of Manufacture:
United States

This is from the description. Google says its the wide one. But, unless he says it himself that that's the right piece, I just won't order that. Any chances to find the US fascia elsewhere on ebay? Whats the part number of the US one?

The real 200mm US market one is: 55405-52580-B0

There is one on ebay right now for $71, but that is about $10 more than you can purchase a new one.

Thank you, I just found it with the word Metra. I could not find the proper keywords to find that.

Cheers

Cant find any one on ebay. Strange. $71? wow, the ones I found are all in the 35-40 EUR w/ shipping.

After a little more research, I stumbled upon the Connects2 catalogue for all vehicles. While CT24TY22 (CT2: ConnecTs2, TY: Toyota, 22: Kit #22) pictures a wide opening (US standard one 200mm), the other kit for the yaris (CT24TY30) which states its the black/dark grey one in colour, pictures a standard EU opening (180mm wide), which is only confusing to say at least.

The only US genuine part (or so they claim) was from a not-so-well built website, which claims they're from Japan, and sell only JDM genuine Toyota parts. Here's their LINK of the part. They state the price is appx. 51 USD plus around 10 more for shipping. They do have paypal though, but still I'm not so sure if I can just trust them. Well, CTScott, I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, as you see I can do some research, and all your help is greatly welcome. Thanks again.

Here's the ebay one:

Here's brand new from Toyotapartszone:
http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...-52580-B0.html

I am not familiar with the site from your link, but that is a great price if they are legitimate.
