I suggest if the 10 spots are filled in like 2 days or so and you have 8 days left, try to get more people.......you may have a bigger discount :)

Sorry about the off topic, but has anyone found a good CF engine cover, maybe one that says VVT-I,or a good aluminum cover,or steel.I know the Scion XA's and XB's share the same engine, and I have found some covers for them, does anyone know what year Scions have the exact same measures.

There was the APR Performance cover for xB/xA which looks just like our stock cover in CF, with the "VVT-i" but no Toyota logo... however, it's been discontinued.

Would love to ask them to lower the price, but it's hard to negotiate when we haven't even hit the initial gb minimum requirements... If we get it to 10, I'll work with them to give us another target and hopefully a better price!!!

you mean like this one.....

I'll be getting this soon, and will give my impressions as to fitment and quality. You can find these all over on ebay.

Now back on topic.....Is anyone planning on doing the dyno for this once they receive it?

Riceboy and I are trying to work something out with Megan Racing and Big Shot Dyno in Ohio. Things are still up in the air but assuming we can work something out, I will be driving to the dyno as soon as these things hit our doorsteps for a solid report on HP/torque gains (or losses! BOO). Big Shot does great work... I've seen a Mercedes C230 they tuned and that was awesome, plus they're the only authorized Saleen techs in the state. Go check them out.

Dyno results

I can pretty much guarantee at this point that we will have dyno results with the headers ON the car.

There is also a good chance that we won't have the results for the car w/o the headers. I'm gonna try to find a way around this, but it isn't looking good.

Question for the real gearheads on the boards... is it possible to install headers using only equipment you can bring in the car in twenty minutes? If you have to pick the engine to get at it then I am screwed. If not, I'll bring some cheese wedges so I can drive up on them and get the new headers in.

^ header install is an easy do it yourself. Swapped out the header on my S2K when I had it, although it may be a little harder on the Yaris considering your going doing it blind being that it's located in that small space behind the motor. It's simple bolt-off then bolt-on and go.

It's almost the same as having money with a lack of products to purchase. Can't wait for the market to grow for this car.
