Free shipping puts it in the price range of the AEM intake. It looks nice. It says its for a manual tranny but why wouldn't it fit the auto......?

Fujita
I installed the Fujita intake two days ago, huge difference in throttle response, and nice growl from engine once you get above 3000rpm. Have pic but it was dark when I finished the install.

Looks like that CAI puts the airfilter inside the frame rail, not in the wheel well like most others

both pics seem to confirm my predictions about my CAI.... the distance of the MAF sensor needs to be exact....
I hear the TRD is a good one, hows the Fujita? notice any diff?

Fujita
The pics may be a bit deceiving, the piping goes down the inside of the frame rail then under and back up again. The filter for the Fujita is above the fog light in the bumper.

seems like that may be the long way around.... but I am sure they engineered it that way for a reason.... What part of Ohio are you in sf180th?

Fujita make nice parts. I had a Fujita on my Lotus and it was bad ass sounding. I think they are worth there money.
Edit: I believe those are over $300 direct from Fujita so I would call that a good deal!

I wouldnt call it easy to install you have to take the whole front of your car off, and take the splash gaurd off from underneath, once you do this it's pretty easy

I may sound like an ass, but I've been down the road of doing intake, bb throttle body, catback exhaust, and software on a BMW 1.8, and it maybe added 10hp at the crank, all for well over $1500. Save your money, earn some interest on it, and someday take a chunk out and feel good about actually making a difference in the performance of your car. my .02 cents. |
