Liftback seat question

I did a search and got some conflicting info.

I'm hoping that the liftback has a seat height adjuster like the one on the sedan. Can somebody who has seen a USA-spec liftback confirm this situation - does the liftback have a seat height adjustment?

I checked at my local dealer's parts counter on this, thinking I'd have to swap a few parts from a sedan. (The seat frame for a Yaris retails for $375, by the way). When we looked the Yaris seats up on the computer, the exact same seats were listed for both sedan/liftback.

Can anybody confirm this?

And for what it's worth, it's way too high in my opinion. I will be replacing the stock seat with my Sparco Rev that I took out of my old WRX. Just need to figure out if I can use the existing seat base (it looks like it unscrews from the rails, which I don't need) or if I'll have to order one. So far no one knows if there's a Sparco base that fits.

I really notice this too!

BUT

I think if I dropped the seat down I wouldnt be able fit my legs comfortably. I suspect that the higher seat is toyota's way of keeping the car small and still allowing enough leg room in the front....

But yes, it is a bit of a drag.

it is supposed to be more of an upright seating position, for sure, but maybe they overdid it a bit
