Check the manifold heat shield. They eventually rust out around the bolts

What is the ballast ?
It seems to be located under the gear shift lever. I checked yesterday but found nothing loose Last edited by likoulou31; 05-01-2017 at 02:47 PM. |

Ballast would be an aftermarket item if you had HID's.
If below shifter maybe a coin dropped in there somewhere?

Today I tried to make the noise happen again.
Parked I pushed the clutch pedal so no movement in the gearbox, went to ~2000rpm and I heard that rattle again. Then I just pushed the lever shift downward and the sound stopped at a certain position between "no gear" and 2nd or 4th or reverse... I don't know what it can be do you guys have an idea where to look ? |

Hi everyone,
Could it be forks in the gearbox or the mechanism that control these forks ? |
