sedan or hatchback for the snow.
Hi,
Im looking at getting a yaris as they seem super reliable from reviews ive read. My only concern is winter driving. I have some questions. I'm looking at a 2007- 2008 models. Which is better in snow the sedan or hatchback. Studded or non studded winter tyre's regardless of cost. I plan on driving from calgary Alberta to sunshine village ski resort on weekends Does the drive train matter. Automatic or manual. I'm confident with manual and found my last front wheel drive hatchback to be great in the snow. Thanks Ronan |

HB and SD are pretty much the same inside. It's only really trunk space that's different.
Manual if you can find one. They deliver better power because of better gearing. And studded tires will always be better in the winter than non studded, especially if you're going to be doing driving in the mountains. |

I might go sedan with more weight over the rear tires. My wife somehow always managed to get the back end loose on our 07 hatch...
