How to clean my TRD CAI?

Hello, guys. I have a TRD CAI and I haven't clean it for very long time. How can I clean it? Can I use the K&N kit to clean the TRD intake?

Is the TRD an oiled filter?

Isn't it made by AEM?

AEM filters are dry - they CAN'T be oiled.

This is what I use for the AEM Dryflow: http://www.aempower.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=1217

is the filter red or white if red and when you put it in water turns pink or white its old if its just white then its a dry filter. if its oiled the k&n kit comes with a cleaner that you spray on let sit for little bit then spray with hose from the inside then let dry. when dry then spray the oil on and the put back on the intake and your good to go. if dry filter then aem sells a kit to clean them as well that you spray on or mix with water drop in turn every so often and then let it dry then put back on intake and good to go
