Headers

Hello. I live in quebec city and we have a rough winter. I want to install a headers and exhaust on my yaris. I have actually a Borla muffleur.

My question his: The DC sport headers avec a ceramic coated but with the winter, Is it dangerous for the ceramic coated? Stainless is preferabla(W-R 4-2-1)?

I want install the nitto mid pipe with my headers and install one hi-flow cat for replacing first resonator!

I think the DC sports would be just fine. Unless someone knows something I don't about that kind of ceramic coating.

From what I've read the Ceramic Coated headers shouldn't have any issues. I asked a friend of mine who owns a garage in Chicago and he said no problem as well.

Good luck with the project! Let us know how it comes out

I've installed a many of DC headers on different customer's car driven in winter. No problems reported along the years.

Il n'y a aucun trouble a ce que tu mets un Header ceramic coated en Hiver.

Salut

go stainless. one little nick during install or driving and you may as well have a mild steel header on there. once that little pit starts rusting it just goes under the coating to peel.

i had a ceramic coating on my camaro's headers. lasted about 6 months before it started to be noticeable...and another 3 months before there was more rust/steel than ceramic coating.

you're much better off going stainless if you can find it. never have a problem with them if you do go stainless.

I've had my DC Sports for over 3 years now, and we get winter where I live, NO issues or deterioration. The DC Sports must have been built better than your camero one.

DC Sports has the best design out of the other headers I've seen, the stainless ones just look like fancy versions of the OEM with little bigger pipes, while DC has actually taken the time to not only give bigger pipes, but straighten them out a bit.

I think that I will go for DC. The design is the best of all! Any way, If I go dot stainless, I will use a rap.

Calis Yaris, I will buy a DC sport headers and nito mi pipe from you this summer. I wish that this time, my package don't stall in customs for 3 months like my AFE air intake!

It was a Heddman headers right?
HTC coating from Heddman sucks! Even if they don't see winter or rain...

The wrap will capture moisture with the time and with our winter, It will take about 4 month and it will get pierced

I've never heard complaints about Jet-Hot coatings, the only way to go imho.
