Boot Door Sensor?
My Mrs. has an 07 Yaris and because it got into a rear end crash the boot door sensor is always on.
I was wondering if there was a fuse or wire I would take out to disable it. I'm also getting an an aftermarket alarm system installed so I wanted to disable the sensor in case there was a conflict in the alarm system with the door sensor. |

The sensor is within the lock assembly. You'll notice a wire going into it (hardwired without a connector). If you follow that wire a short distance, you'll come to blue two pin connector. If you disconnect it the light on the cluster will go out.
