Mine sounds like it's crying at those speeds too, glad I'm not the only one, then again... I drive a sedan

Can't complain about that man. Ask some of these other folks driving other whips and they will envy you getting that type of FE at consistent speeds over 80.

I just came back from a trip.. 18 hours cruising roughly 75 the entire way to destination, and 14.5 hours cruising roughly 75-80 back. No problems and I got over 39 mpg both ways. No stops for anything other than gas

Cruise was a savior for sure! My best tank was just under 44 mpg.

My Dodge truck has a true bullet proof motor ha ha.

I have an 09 a/t 5 dr hb and I do prolly 65-70 mph daily np and not really any engine noise, at least not enough to bother me. Ive had it up to 85 on our highway which is risky being our speed limit is 60 most places lol. But even around 85 I didnt experience any major engine noise. Maybe its bc I am used to my carbed 318 dual exhaust at 60-70 mph which is rather loud lol.

lol, this is why i'm always so scared when i buy used cars... but at least you guys take good care of them. a person who drives slower but skips service intervals is worse of course.

I took mine (toyota Echo) all the way to 113mph before. I even followed a Mitsubishi Eclipse at 100mph on my way to NYC.

you will not damage the engine at 4000 rpm, they designed it so it can be run at long periods safely at any rpm below the redline. you do far more engine damage driving your car when you first start it up in the morning.

Only concern at high speed is a strong crosswind. MPG at a buck 20 avg 43 in the winter. Just shy of 50 in the summer.

When I had my echo, it was more stable at 120kmh than it is at 80kmh with very strong crosswinds. Strong enough to flip 18 wheelers...

I was also lowered with eibach ProKits.

I meant high high speeds. The ones where your check engine light comes on because the car doesn't recognize WARP on the speedometer.
