aftermarket gauges

I'm looking to install 3 aftermarket gauge on the dash above the steering wheel.

The 2 gauge that I know I will be for sure installing are oil pressure and vacuum. I have an ultragauge for coolant temp and voltage.

I was originally going to go with oil temp as my 3rd gauge but recently started thinking about using fuel pressure as the 3rd instead. My reasoning is that oil temps generally follow coolant temps pretty well and the point of these gauges are to keep an eye on how my engine is doing and spot anything wrong before it becomes catastrophic.

I feel that fuel pressure would be more beneficial and allow me to more easily trouble shoot down the road than oil temps.

What is everyone's thoughts? Keep in mind my engine is NA and will likely always stay that way.

I got an ELM327 OB2 Bluetooth, Samsung 7" tablet, Torque Pro App and a magnetic mount. It's mounted smack in front of me on top of the steering column.

That's a good setup you have.

Problem is I already have an ultragauge that shows what the obd II is showing. It's things like fuel pressure, oil pressure and vacuum that I want to get actual physical gauges for to help support my ultragauge

with an NA build I couldn't see why someone would go with fuel pressure unless you live in a cold environment and have to deal with crappy gas during the winter that could have water in it. Personally I would still do the oil temp. You may feel that oil and coolant temp rise roughly the same, but oil that gets worn out tends to have higher temps. Granted an actual oil analysis would be the best to gauge how often you need to do an oil change that doesn't mean that using oil temp as a way to tell is also of benefit.

Good point. I didn't know that about the oil. It does get damn cold here in the winter and I just figured fuel pressure would give me some help down the road if I notice issues like poor or lack of starting.

I just sent out my oil sample to blackstone th other day. I should hear back soon with the analysis. The engine has 144,000km on it and the oil was Mobil 1 0w30 with 10,000km oci. I'll post the results up when I get them.
