The Yaris is clearly a trouble free car.

The tire issues of course can't be blamed on Toyota and is not a Yaris problem and we can't really expect the Yaris to come with expensive long lasting Michelins.

Seems like nothing goes wrong with these cars. One of the great benefits of a simple car.

if you have the auto iit wont shift until the engine warms up or you go over 35mph... its to ensure the engine warms up properly

2008 Sedan Base
Black Sand Pearl
AT/Power Pkg/Cruise/15" Steel
5,000 mi
No problems - not even one

Lowest mileage - 1st tank, 38 mpg
Highest mileage - 44 mpg / mixed driving
Average mileage - 42 mpg / mixed driving

I've taken it on several 200+ mile highway trips, but since it is loaded with family and luggage, I have always gotten the same 41 - 43 mpg I get when driving back and forth to work by myself. Would love to get it on a really long stretch of interstate and run the tank to see what it can really do on the highway.

Finally someone with more miles than me. A lot more. That's a lot of driving!

Do you use it for work?
