tranny has really loosened up - feels great!

with over 5k miles on the clock now, my tranny has really loosened up and feels ALOT better than it did in the beginning. i was kind of worried to tell the truth because i was not sure if it was going to get any better. first gear was sometimes a PITA to get into gear and third gear felt rough more often than not. just recently within the past 500-1000 miles the tranny has really loosened up and the gears snick into place now. no issues at all. the trd quickshifter helps greatly with this task as well. i've been running redline 75w90 in it since the 700 mile mark.

i thought this info might be useful for any new yaris 5spd owners who think the tranny might feel rough and sticky.

What's up DFW white Yaris owners!

I'm at 10,900 and it shifts pretty smoothly now.

Before, going into 3rd gear was kind of stiff. But it could've just been my footing. The clutch in my car before this one was gorilla.

I needed to put about 12,000km on my Yaris before the initial clutch take-up became noticeably better.

The car now has 44,000km and the clutch take-up is still getting better (probably because the engine is a little more free-flowing and has better initial power).
