New to yaris world but am enjoying the conversations here already. Proud owner of a white 2013 Yaris...my "cutie". Gotta change that horn though...my chihuahua's bark is more threatening:)

Welcome That was funny, Chihuahua's can be a bit feisty so don't knock that horn! You got WHITE one, oh those white ones are looking so sharp lately...

Long time listener, first time caller. I've had my Yaris for about eight months now and have lurked around here since then. I've enjoyed the wealth of information on this site. And CTScott's crashy. I'm so very jealous of crashy and want one of my own.
Bought an '08 3 door liftback used in Meteorite Metallic Silver. Wasn't too fond of the color at first but it's grown on me now. I've taken it on a few road trips now and it's been a dream every time. I never thought I'd be the kind of person to grow attached to a car, but there is something lovable about the little things. Now I'm coming up with little things to do with it to really make it my own. |

Gday from Melbourne, Australia
Hello from a new Yaris owner in Melbourne, Australia. Just picked up a 2010 5 door with the 1.3 engine. I bought this car so I had something quiet, comfortable and wallet friendly to get me to and from work. I also have a 1992 Isuzu MU 4x4 for hauling things and getting off the blacktop from time to time. Past cars I've owned are '79, '84 and '91 Honda Preludes, and a 2002 Mazda MX5. I've worked on all of my cars, especially the 4x4, but I probably won't have to do much on the Yaris, but I enjoy reading about people who do, especially the mad ones who put turbos in these :-)

Hey Yaris people, im new here too from Kenya, lots of helpful stuff to read about the yaris. Ive got a 07 Lb meteorite, here known as the vitz. I will definitely post about the vitz experience in Kenya, from: reinforcing all the badges with rivets to staying away from low profile tyres. Pics coming soon..

New member is Melbourne, Australia
I swear I've already posted this but it's disappeared... anyhow, new Yaris owner here in Melbourne, Australia. I have a 2010 5 door hatch, bought for commuting in an economical and comfortable fashion. My DD for the last year has been a fairly agricultural 4x4 ('92 Isuzu MU SWB) so the Yaris feels like a Rolls Royce to me :-).
Loving it so far, I do work on my cars too so hope to catch some good tips here. Past cars include several Honda Preludes (4ws is the best!) and an NB MX5. |

That color is awesome - It's a bit lighter and brighter than our 2nd gen blazing blue. I saw one in the wild in England last Summer.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I have been lurking here for about a year but I just bought a new 2014 Yaris SE and figured I should make it official and join up. This is a great site, all the positive things I've read about the Yaris here helped me make the decision to finally purchase one. Thank you. I feel like I know some of you guys pretty well already from your posts, especially the great CTScott, (if you ever make it down to NYC the beers are on me).
I look forward to a long relationship with both my Yaris and my fellow Yaris owners here on Yarisworld. |
