im really on the fence with this one

on the one hand, our cars come with so little power, that every bit of weight you can save especially unsprung weight will go a ways to increase or maintain the performance. on the other hand, if i wanted a real performance vehicle, im not sure i would have ended up with a yaris.

actually i guess im not really on the fence, with my heavy 16" TRD rims. all show, no go.

Magnesium wheels = super light, but not good for the street.

They aren't magnesium wheels, lol.

Very few wheels are magnesium now.

The TE37s are forged monoblock aluminum.here is how they do it.

The CE28N is also monoblock forged aluminum. The 14x5.5 CE28N supposedly weighs only 6.39 lbs. I thought the TE37's were the lightest, but obviously I was wrong.

Hmm, anyone know of anything lighter than 6.39lbs for 14x5.5 wheels? Not sure if that is possible, lol.
