coil testing
Anyone know what i can do to check my coils over my plugs? I saw some thing using a test light. I was wondering if there was a tool a garage uses.
I'm familiar with the resistance testing on the high and low side. Do they use a high pot test to measure the high pot resistance? |

The coil packs contain more circuitry than traditional coils, so you can't get at the input side of the coil. You can partially get at the output side, but there is a diode between one leg of it and the +B terminal.
