Best bang for the buck headlight bulb upgrade ???

Ok so on my 07 one headlight has gone out. Wanting to swap them in pairs I'm hesitant to just get them from cdn tire...

What headlight bulbs have you used to replace the bulbs?

Are there any hid kits out there specifically for this car ?

I'd advise against using HID in the factory housings. It definitely makes it easier to see, but everyone coming towards you will hate you.

Silvania silverstars are always nice if you want something brighter.

IMO, projector retrofits are the best lighting you can get. As far as bang for your buck goes... I'd probably say silverstars.

I have been using the silverstars as well. They are much brighter than the OEM bulbs, but their downside is about a one to one and a half year life span.

The Philips X-treme Vision . Go here for details , http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48295 . Did use Silverstars for many years before the X-treme Vison .

The Philips Crystal Vision Ultra are very good bulbs as well . Have those in the '11 Fit . They cost less than the X-treme Vision .
