Brakes Question

Last year my 2010 Yaris brakes started squeaking when the brakes get hot. It never makes noise when its cool out, only during summer months. I took the tires off and the brakes are fine. My Yaris has 52,000 miles on it.

I'm going to replace the brake rotors and the disk pads next month.

Ceramic pads or Semi Metallic. My only concern is brake performance and NO noise

So Semi Metallic or Ceramic ???

Ceramic pads are what makes more noise.

I had Akebono ceramic pads on my AE111 wagon .. those were used when i installd them with 2pot calipers from AE10x super charged Corolla ..
I drove 250K km's with em and pads were still in good working condition !
All that with same orig. japan made discs !!
Those never gave any sound effect !!! Very tenger to brake discs !!
And 1 good point to say .. no visible brake dist at all !!
