Lexus Black Pearl Emblems on the Yaris ie Black Chrome

So I have been looking at the Lexus Black Pearl emblems. Something like this

That have that sexy gloss black look but looks like black chrome when the light hits it just right. I have been trying to replicate the look on the yaris. I tried nightshades headlight tint and it came out not how i expected. Today I was at orielys and I saw they have a black chrome paint designed specifically to replicate the black chrome look on chrome parts. I decided to give my car a try and here are the results.

BEFORE

AND AFTER

There is a shadow on the car right now so you cant really see how good it looks in the light on the car but here is another up close in the light

And this is how it looks up close in the shade

I decided my chrome license plate stood out to much so i decided to give it the black chrome treatment as well

This is before

After the first 2 light coats. I am gona put a few more and then once it fully drys I am thinking of removing the yarisworld sticker so it will be in full chrome. Would have a cool customer look effect.

What do you guys think. I am planning to do my front emblem next as well as the vvti on the rear badge to match.

I just started to do the front emblem. I wrapped the back in carbon fiber the emblem itself isnt fully done yet i still need to do a few more coats and clear coat it for gloss but it looks like its going to turn out like i envisioned.

Thanks that was what i was going for. I thought about plasti dipping the emblems but thats been done over so many times and on a dark car dosnt look that good in my opinion. I wanted to tone down the chrome but still retain some of it to give it a semi factory look/clean .....not tacky look

Looks really good. I think we carry some Van's black chrome effect paint.

Here is a full front shot and rear. It changes how the rear looks a lot.

Planning on painting my chrome center caps black, tinting my headlights and tail lights and then doing the exhaust tip in black chrome for full murdered out look.

Is the second image with the black chrome on your license plate? I do like your front emblem - it is awesome! I was thinking of smoking my front and rear lights as well!

you really need to pick up some smoked spyder taillights to complete the rear.
