OEM Engine Air Filter Parts Number?

http://www.toyota.com/pub-share/pdf/...airfilters.pdf
According to the link above, the part# is 17801-21050

I was told by my local dealer that's the old part number(they don't have it, but other dealer has it), the new one is 17801-0T030.....

You can see that the xD requires 17801-0T030, so the Yaris and xD have the same filter compartment? Of course both will fit, i just don't know which one to buy...

I just bought one from a Toyota dealer yesterday, so this info is fresh...

The one I removed was part # 17801-21050, but the dealership told me it was replaced by 17801-0T030. I got that (under $16) and it worked fine. It is the same filter no matter what car uses it.

By the way, you know the xD and the Yaris use the same basic unibody structure, MacPherson-strut front suspension, torsion-beam rear suspension, front disc and rear drum brakes, and electric rack-and-pinion steering, right? The xD is 4.1 inches longer overall than the Yaris hatch and 1.2 inches wider, but both cars are the same height and both have a 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder engine positioned transversely under the hood that drives the front wheels.

But in place of the Yaris' wimpy 106-horsepower, 1.5-liter four-cylinder with variable valve timing on the intake cam, the xD gets a 128-hp, 1.8-liter four with variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust camshafts

Cheers! M2
