Wheel well removal?
Anyone here can help out.. i was torquing a screw holding the cowl cover right at the strut, and i dropped my 10 mm short wrench in the fender.. damn..I felt it go all the way down..haha.. I tried with a magnet but to no avail.. the thing is when im driving i dont hear it banging around, sounds like its wedged.. Does this mean i need to remove the wheel well cover.. anyways can someone help out.. lol

I would say that it is likely wedged between the fender liner and the fender. You can release a couple of the clips on the wheel arch to get a peek in.

Hi CTScott i did that and i push my magnet in there moved it around.. no catch.. im guessing i will need to remove the wheel well.. is this a big job ? Damn.. not being to lucky these past couple weeks. Btw the popping noise i was hearing was the cowl cover, has a busted screw.. I had to drill and retap.. put in a new screw.. no more noise. :)

If by wheel well, you mean the whole fender, then it is a bit of a hassle. I would start with just freeing the fender liner, as that will give you full visibility under the fender.

I am guessing that removing the front wheel first before the fender liner would facilitate ease of access/egress? I am following the hood release cable & it hides behind the driver side wheel well liner.

Yes. Removing the wheel gives you far better access.
