Everyone's saying not to use armor all- I'm going to go to a store again and buy the Meguiar brand for my dashboard. But what do you guys suggest for glass wipes? Same brand? (no, I don't clean at home, so I don't even know the best household cleaning products) And I would like wipes not spray and rag. Any recommendations?

BTW you can use claybar on the glass if the water residue is really bad.

Mix 1/2 water and 1/2 white distilled vinegar

Use Micro rags...go after the water spots in circles pressing hard...

the spots will come off....

Any new suggestions??

I've tried:

Windex
CLR
Vinegar (mixed and straight)
WD40 (just made more of a mess)
0000 steel wool (with all 4 of the above and dry)
razors (again, with all 4 "cleaning agents and dry)
gasoline
alcohol
brake cleaner, carb cleaner

The window seals can't take much more, so I'm gonna clay bar it next. If that doesn't worked, I'm pretty sure the water spots somehow etched the glass. They aren't normal water spots, I can get those off with windex and a little elbox grease. They are smaller and more faint, and apparently impossible to get off.

off topic: I spilled some CLR on the concrete floor, and it instantly bleached spots into the concrete... that is scary stuff.
