Why is the 2012 rated 2mpg higher than 2011

And below. Is it a tire difference or did the body change effect the aerodynamics?

Probably cuz they have more prius' they rather sell you. Before there was only one...so they rated the yaris low mpg to try to get people in the prius.

Send a message via MSN to b20vteg
from what i've read, it's due to better aerodynamics...

Quite likely, b20vteg. It doesn't take a lot to change the aerodynamics, and the results are often dramatic. All one has to do is follow F1 to learn that...

It just might be the 2012's new exhaust manifold design...

Oooooooo... Will that retrofit as a straight bolt on to the 2011? In the Miata world, a popular mod is to retrofit a 2001 tubular exhaust manifold for the 99-00 cast iron manifold. Works about as good as an aftermarket header but looks bone stock to the inspectors.

Yes, it will.

I know because I had replaced it with a Weapon R header that was listed for 2007-2011 models and it fit perfectly.

Hmmmm... You "had" replaced it? Do still have it? For sale?
