Need help with LED footwell lights

I have a 2008 sedan base and I just bought a couple of LED strips to put under footwell. I'm wanting to know how to wire them up to turn on with my dome lights, if anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it I'm a newbie when it comes to electrical stuff

iirc, it's a pink and a blue wire at the fuse location behind the driverside cubby. I'll try to find a picture.

Yeah it's helping I just need to go get some wire to make it reach the fuse box lol I saw in a thread that you have some LEDs under your dash did you wire it up to turn on with the dome when doors open?

Yes, I wired it to turn on when the doors are open. They don't turn on if you turn on the dome light via the switch tho. Also, I've replaced those blue (supposedly white) LED strips with a single high wattage white LED on each side (don't think I ever took pics of them).

You can see that I wired it behind the center console. Takes some fishing to get through the holes

Current draw from the LED strips is very minimal. I just jammed the exposed leads of the strip straight into the terminals and it's been good ever since. 3 years past and no problems yet. Disregard my rat's nest.
