In the garage? Why would you want extra weight?

use velcro or double sided tape to secure them to something

i had mine on driver's battery and passenger's strut body mount. seriously, how often do you really take out the battery...and if it's vibrating that much, you're battery would be shot after about 6 months.

I zip-tied mine to the chassis on either side like so:
*It also has some double sided foam adhesive pads. Hope that helps.

passenger side is the first image - mounted on the chassis piece behind the crash bar (i think that's what it's called, or bumper support bar?) driver side is the second image - mounted in almost the same location on the other side but slightly lower (in front of the wheel well) as my ballast wouldn't fit in the same space. :) Here's an image of 4300K from another angle to assist you: In my opinion 8000K is too blue for my liking, 6000K is on the edge of white before blue. But ofcourse these are just approximates, the colour will vary between HID brands for the same Kelvin.

yea, thanks guys...
i think i roughly know where and how to place my Ballast. and i decided to get the 6000K instead of 8000K because 4300K is actually quite white already.. so i think 6000K will Suit me most since i want it be Slightly Blue in color but Not Blue & 8000K will be too "blue". i am going to make the payment later, it takes about a week to reach here i think. by tat time, if i got any trouble with the installation, hope can get some advices from u guys.. the following picture is the kit that i m going to buy, =p thanks matess... |
