Ready for summer......
.... although admittedly a fair bit early Just got sick of driving on steel rims, and my new tires arrived.
Spent some time on the car yesterday: mounted the NT01s, serviced my brakes (caliper pins were getting stiff), maxed out my front camber (-2.8°), checked control arm bolts (still there, and still covered in grease), and mini-detailed the little piggy (pressure-washed underneath to get rid of salt, cleaned seats/interior, washed outside/jambs). I hope the NT01s do better than I'm expecting in standing water though. I've run RA1s in pretty deep stuff with out hydroplaning, but the NT01s are definitely going to be worse. Anyhow, no real point to this post :þ Car is otherwise stock except for TRD rear swaybar, a lap-belt (to hold my butt in the seat at autoX), shifter bushings, console and a stubby antenna. Cheers. |

And you have such top notch scenery to drive around and enjoy during the Summer. One could send me out of West Vancouver pointed toward the Sea to Sky and send me driving to Whistler and back all Summer and you'd never be able to wipe the smile off my face .

Thanks guys. Yes, 205/50r15. Size is a little short for the stock height car but I have no intention of lowering. Nittos tend to be a little shorter than other tires too for whatever reason.
The natural beauty around here is undeniable. If you find yourself in the area again, try to get over to Vancouver Island if you haven't been. It's where I go to camp etc. Cheers. |
