I posted up that I used 20, it was perfect. Even strong dental floss will work, and leave your emblems minty fresh!

Now I think I like that chrome garnish even more!

Chris, you should grab it and paint it flat black to match your new emblem.

Did I mention all the James Bond type security mods I'd made to the car?

I wouldn't go near that emblem if I were you.

It only pulls back, about an inch or so.. won't tilt away like the fronts.

Wish it did, i know it makes washing the front windshield a lot easier
black plastic cap at rear removes quite easily, and its hold there for replacement or wash/wax

not going thru the trouble of actually removing it, just to wash behind it. if it wasn't lifting high enough to wash behind, I still dont see myself removing it, to clean the glass.

I did it... didn't use any heat.. just put a nylon string under the emblem and whole thing came off with no glue left behind on the car in 5 seconds.
Super easy and looks very nice . It's great to keep people guessing what I am driving. Thanks for this simple DIY.

I just debadged mine today and I must've done something terribly wrong. I got all the adhesive off but now it's extremly scuffed where the emblems used to be.

I've put two coats of ICE on it but it's still there.

Any suggestions?

3M fine cut compound.

How did you manage to scuff it?
