09 Meteorite Metallic Front Swap

Would anyone want to or be willing to swap their 07/08 front end with my new 09 front end? I absolutely hate the headlights. The color would have to be Meteorite Metallic, so it is a straight swap. Also I would be willing to put in up to $100 too if everything is in good condition. I live in NY willing to travel 100 miles.

I get the car tomorrow so the longer you wait the more beat up it gets... if you tell me now I'll tape up the front w/ painters tape so it's uber new.

i dont think many people would be willing to swap, its not a direct fit and like yourself, not many people dig the 09 look :(

if so it's fine, probably better to have all my stock parts, technically I only want the stock bumper and I'm sure I can get one for $500 painted no prob.

wont fit

09s are different then 08s

you need the old headlights and i think the hoods are the same but the headlights dont line up as well so you need to drill new holes

fogs are different as well

lol... I know the headlights are different and so is the hood I believe. I'm going to get black projector lights or stock, and a seibon cf hood, if no one wants a 09 front end plus $100.

Hood is the same. Fogs are the same - just the trim piece around the fogs is different.

As stated above, you will need to also drill for the headlight mounting point change. If you end up buying a new one or an ebay one, don't forget that you need the grills and fog trim or blanks as well.

mine is the only one with rectangular driving lights on the bumper.
lights are mounted in 3/8's holes on the top side of the lower grill, you'd have to lay on your back to see them. im gonna give you a good long time to think about it as im going on vacation for a week leaving tonight. i'll have my computer... i need to stand in front of an '09 to get an idea, i've looked at a few pictures and don't see the major differences other than the lower grill... whats different? and how big a deal is redrilling the lights? i have no qualms drilling plastic, but is it in a bad spot? is it still going to be structurally substantial?
