...nothing

that being said, it depends on how much boost you want to run. If you are alright with no more than 8psi, you can run that on all stock internals with a zage kit and a piggyback controller.

Over 8psi requires new piston rods (several people recomend lower compression pistons as well).

realize any turbo kit will require tuning.

there are loads of turbo guys on here so if you want to do it (and do it right) you should have all the advice you need.

also, you can get the mild turbo kit from Garm at microimageonline.com He does wild turbo kits too. Check him out.

Would strongly suggest that you have a proper suspension at the least. Lowering springs to start along with a rear sway bar. Might even be a good idea to do a front strut tower brace. Solid tires. I recommend these because with boost comes more spirited driving traditionally and then quite possibly more aggressive cornering. With the stock height/stance of the Yaris platform it sits a bit high and could give you some roll/grief.

I actually agree with fnkngrv on that one. I don't have boost and I have most of those things (springs and sway bar... need better tires)

they aren't a must but it will help when your car does have that level of power. at 8psi, people are saying 170-190 at the tires. results may vary.
