putting 2013 Yaris radio in a 2009?

I want a new radio in my car, and my wife loves the Bluetooth feature on my stock radio. Can I install my old stock radio in her 09 Yaris? Will it sound different?

It will work. But I believe you need to get the microphone for the Bluetooth function.

CTScott gas a nice write up about this.

Without the OEM microphone connected, the headunit will not even allow you to pair to your phone for playing music. The bluetooth menu is not even displayed/
