Air filter that fits?(2010 & up)
I purchased a Fram Air filter last year and due to the corners of it's rectangular shape, the filter housing wouldn't snap in completely. I heard that the only one that is a perfect fit(obviously) is the official dealership ones, is that true? I would hate to have to shell out $39.95 for something that I can get for $10. However, I do like genuine products, so if I have to, I guess I will get it from Toyota. I only do like 12,000 miles a year(if that), so it's not like I'd have to purchase it that often anyway. Thanks for any help.

Are you shure you did not try to install it upside down?
Don't forget that air flow is from bottom to top and only one corner of the filter needs to be rounded to prevent improper installation. |

^ Exactly. I changed mine recently and used a Purolator with no issues.
