I'm back. It was a mighty busy vacation out in CA, so I was out of comm most of the time.
In San Francisco I had the opportunity to get together with a bunch of members of the NorCal Vitz/Vios Club, and even had the opportunity to drive Taylor's Yaris, which has a 2ZR-FE swapped from a Scion Xd.

Sounds like a great time. How was the 2ZR-FE in the Yaris? Feels pretty much like the Scion XD?

Small midweek meet, went pretty late all things considered. But it was great to meet the man that got the 2zr to actually start in the yaris, putting it in was the easy part with Mr Armstrong Racing himself doing the swap. The build was a NCVC group effort, a few of us made blood sacrifices to the 2zr, lol.

I was thoroughly impressed with the 2ZR in the Yaris. I have never driven an XD, but the 2ZR Yaris had as good or better acceleration than my supercharged Yaris.
