Hard-wire power cable for GPS in 2009 Camry? CTScott, know anything about Camrys?

I have a 2009 Camry LE. Just ordered one of these GPS mounts:
http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-mir...p-b-369au.html

Basically, you remove the rear-view mirror, slide this mount in place then slide the rear-view mirror over part of this mount.

I'm going to have my Garmin 3790T in there and I'd like to hard-wire a power cable for it. The cable needs to have power going to it as soon as the car's accessory is turned on and power off when the car's accessory is turned off.

This is the power cable that comes with it:

Are there wires up there inside the headliner (near the edge where the rear-view mirror goes) that I can tap into for this?

I was going to say "nope", but a quick torrent search and I now have the 07+ EWDs. There is a connector Q3 under the headliner, right above the mirror, that is for Camry's with the fancy rear view mirror. The connector is a two pin one with a yellow wire (ignition switched power) and a white/black wire (ground).

Thanks CT. My Camry has just the Plain old mirror. So it won't have that connector up there?

It will. The connector is part of the standard harness. In your case, it's just not in use.

Thanks again CT.

So a question for everyone and anyone else that knows more about the Camry:

Is there an easy way to get to this connector? I tried pulling down on the edge of the headliner nearest to the rear-view mirror, but it's really stiff unlike the Yaris's headliner.

I ended up purchasing one of these:

Should be pretty easy to wire if I can get to that connector.

Looking at the service manual for the Camry, it looks pretty similar to the Yaris as far as using the clips to hold it to the roof. If you PM me your email, I can shoot you the "interior" section of the manual, so you can see what it says.
