we've had the accent as a hatch in canada for as long as the car has been around, but it is so freakn' ugly, the fit is a masterpiece in comparison.
they released a new sedan a while back, but still have the same hatch, is the hatch a new design available in the states? |

That's the one we in Canada have too. The problem I see, is that the hatch cannot be equiped as well (even with options) as the Accent GS sedan. The top of the line sedan is actually a very nice piece, and IF the hatch had been equipped properly and had the same level of finish, it might have been competition. Hyundai have a great warranty, and that would attract a lot of customer interest.
BTW - They need to have a great warranty to overcome the bad rep built up by their early N.A. cars. Hyundai really perfected the concept of the disposable car with their early efforts. |

The one I am talking about is a new 2007 model
its a hatch version of the new sedan and even has 16" rims availble on the higher model. I will post pics in a little bit. |

I stand corrected. Nothing that good in Canada, when I bought my Yaris in April.
