I was looking at these Yokomo Drift kits, but I think eventually I might go for a 1/16 scale version of hpi's drifter with the trueno body.

I know that out there you can get the body for one of these, i dont know about the scale size. But it is a Vitz body, that of course has to be painted, etc. But it is the older gen Vitz.

The yokomo fits most 200mm bodies they are simply an electric touring car with a high turn motor with a esc designed to brake like an e-brake would, on hard compound tires.

You can get our model as well, but it is indeed for a different, shorter chassis, Tamiya's M04 if I am not mistaken.

Sorry to thread jack but I couldn't help it.
Here is what I was looking at starting off with as terms for my drifter project. That and one of these.
Not to mention some of these
That or I'll try to get ahold of a used Traxxas E-4-tec and build it up from there.
I would really love to start off with a Yokomo kit but the prices always scared me.

Someone pick this up it's actually a pretty good deal.
