Megan or DC headers?

Is there a big difference between the two as far as performance is concerned?

i should hope so considering the price difference

I believe as there're more users on DC header than the Megan in this forum. The real different design from our stock header are the DC. The megan pipe design are almost similar to our stock header except for Bigger/thicker piping.

From my point of view, if the design of the header are almost the same as stock but with bigger/thicker pipe, you gonna lose low end torque for our little 1.5 engine.

I'll go for properly/well design header than just simple enlarge header. Hope it help you to decide better between the 2.

Personally, between the two, I'd choose the DC header over the Megan header any day. DC sports just has a much better reputation imo.

I sell both. Of course I'd rather sell you the more expensive item, but I ran the Megan myself with no issues, and I haven't heard of any failing. Side by side, the DC header looks better and probably is a little better quality.

The DC has a better piping design which has less curves to it. I did quite a bit of searching before deciding on the DC. Sure it costs more but you get what you pay for. Figured I only wanted to replace my header once. Nothing really wrong with megan, but if your considering both, go with DC.

DC owner here. Love it.

I'm, personally, not a huge fan of Megan products (anymore).

Does the DC header provide a noticable power increase? Or is it one of those 1-2HP installs?

its only a direct replacement of the stock exhaust manifold, its not like a race header so I couldnt see you getting more than 2-3whp out of it.
