The total was 12.777 gallons.
Yes. This thread was from two years prior to me doing that though.

Going really slow, only taking long trips, and using a ton of hyper miling techniques. My best is 47 mpg, backed up by 45 the next week. The only two weeks where 90% of my mileage was highway.

If you can keep the engine revving at about 1600 rpms in fifth gear all the time, you'd get sensational gas mileage. You'd also scare the ever living daylights out of anyone driving with you and piss the hell out of everyone else on the road.

Lol...okay. I guess that makes sense. I got 400 miles with a combination of city, highway, 3 other passengers at times, occasional use of the AC and squealing the tires around corners.

50 mpg x 11 gal = 550 miles. Hard to do 50 MPG for very long, but I do that on some trips home from work. There is an elevation drop (around 500 feet) that helps a lot. Never drive highway, around 45 mph seems to be the sweet spot for me. I coast down the hill, engine idling. I have less than 2K miles, so break-in is not complete. I got 38 and 40 MPG the last two tanks. Mileage drops when driving 70 and carrying passengers (38 MPG for the trip).
