You are not going to feel a difference with oil filter. I worked at a lube shop and They had a review that said that supertec the cheap walmart stuff did better than the majority of the name brands.

if you go every 35,000 miles, i'd say you're only gonna get one free oilchange before your engine is toast.

OEM filter and Valvoline 5W-30 untill 20,000 miles, then to Mobil 1. I really hate going 5000 miles per change. I had the first at 4,000 done by the dealer,(I don't know why I didn't do it myself), and now I'm itchin to change it at 8,000. What do you think, is 5,000 to long for non-synthetic?

I use K&N filters, first oil change at 1000 (installed the K&N filter also),then changed the oil again at 5000,thats when I used Mobil 1 synthetic, then changed at 10,000,I used Royal Purple synthetic.I have 11,000 miles on it now,I think I might go with Amsoil next, maybe for the life of the car.
