Toyota d4d automatic 2007 clutch problem?

Hello guys

I have a yaris of 2007 5speed MMT. I am experiencing some kind of trouble with the car and i would like your help if anyone has any ideas?
So the car has only 60000miles and the clutch seems to be slipping. The slip is more noticeable on 4th and 5th gear.
From other friends i have same engine same year has done 115000 miles and the clutch is not been replaced still.
I asked my mechanic and when he drove the car, he said it might need to go to a toyota garage to be reprogrammed as the clutch shouldnt be the problem.
I was wondering if that could be the case?

Is there any way i can reset the ecu by disconnecting the positive battery for 30mins and then reconnect? Will it help?

Is it likely to be the clutch or? The car is mostly used on straight roads not mountains and on D. Semi automatic was not used much.

Thanks for any help

If the problem only occurs in MMT mode, then I would say that the MMT needs recalibration, but if it happens in full manual mode, then I would think that it is more likely the clutch.

Recalibrating the MMT requires the Toyota intelligent tester (techstream).

i just tested the car. with the manual mode the slip is almost on the 4th 5th gear.
I will try re-calibrate.
Another question is will i manage the ecu reset by disconnecting battery or it doesnt worth trying?
Do i need to go toyota for that or any mechanic?

Unfortunately disconnecting the battery won't do anything for this issue.
