In front of the battery and a few inches to the left. Look for a linkage with a black rubber boot ending with a round bushing with a silver codder pin through it. Just remove the codder pin, pull the shifter linkage up, place the quick shift piece on the metal cylinder, place the linkage on top of the quick shift piece and replace the codder pin. :)

Not a problem man, wait wait...the TRD quick shift kit that you bought is for the engine bay, right? If so, that's the same piece as the NST SSK I. If you want another ~30% reduction, an NST SSK II would be a great addition for a sportier feel. The NST SSK II goes on the base of the actual stick...this one's a little more work to install but definitely worth the effort.

oh! haha, good we are on the same page. Yes!!! If you would like an even shorter throw, pick up an NST SSK II! :) Very awesome mod. Lately I've been thinking about getting a TWM short shifter as well...but I've already got the NST SSK I and II as well as a (custom) shortened shifter...I don't want to get too carried away. haha

Just a thought.....I wonder if I removed the stock stick, cut the stick by about 2 inches and re-thread it, could that be considered "reducing the throw?" lol

well...that's exactly what I did! It won't reduce the throw at all, but it looks nicer and feels like a better vertical position imo. You don't even have to re-thread anything because you could cut a chunk out of "the middle" and weld it back together.

hmmm, I'll be in St. Pete's in a month, I could bring one down? lol...ok, the flight probably wouldn't allow that as a carry-on item. If you want a shorter stick with a reduced throw, you could go for a TWM short throw shifter...I'm not 100% sure they work with the NST SSK II.

One item I wouldn't be able to bring but want to get rid of is the 60 section of my rear seat. Also, I'd like to sell my stock tail lights (used for 3 weeks, perfect condition), my Simota Carbon cold air intake, a rear Netz emblem, and stock badges.

I just might be interested in the rear netz emblem, I'm good on the CAI, Fujita F5, and as far as tails...I just got some TYC's and smoked 'em.
